Steel Wall Cladding VS Extruded Aluminum Wall Cladding<\/h2>\n

In the metal covering industry, the most commonly used raw materials are steel and aluminum. <\/p>\n

When the time comes to choose the right wall covering for a project, price and look are the main criteria in the selection process, but what about the issues of strength, durability and stability of the wall covering? <\/p>\n

Over time, we see ripples in steel wall coverings caused by restrictions during expansion. This is an unfortunate phenomenon that happens frequently with the steel wall covering. <\/p>\n

The predominant problem of steel is its lack of dimensional stability when subjected to temperature changes. Steel sheets used in wall coverings expand and contract in all directions, and this movement can sometimes reach more than 4%. <\/p>\n

Similar to extruded aluminum wall coverings, which are composed of a stabilized alloy such as 6063-T5, they offer an unparalleled performance against deformation, because the low expansion and contraction of this alloy, or less than 1%, are mainly carried out longitudinally. <\/p>\n

Unlike steel coatings, which are made from stamped sheets, our Luxor architectural wall coatings are made from extruded aluminum providing increased impact resistance and exceptional stability, because this wall covering has never been folded cold, but rather moulded from prefusion aluminum.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
